I started my inventory this week which involves a process of taking stock of my ingredients and raw materials, and figuring out what I need in order to continue high quality product making. I was thinking how similar of a process this is for what we must do personally in our lives. Taking inventory of our gifts, skills and talents so we can build up our stock...we have to figure out what we need and also what we don't need to continue progressing forward. As I'm thinking about expanding my Authentic Gemstone Jewelry line and the E-Ma's line of products, I'm looking at not only what new tools I may need to buy or what new scented oils I like, but I also have to assess my capabilities. Can I effectively utilize the tools needed to create something new? Is there training or mentoring required to expand my skills? In order to grow, I must address these questions and do what's necessary to be satisfied with the answers. So this is the process I'm in today.
