Meet Seasha and Mustafaa

One of the disadvantages of entrepreneurship is that often you are by yourself doing a lot of work ;-/ I'm not complaining, but for me, often it's the reality. But recently I accepted a new reality of sharing what I do with some young people eager to gain summer employment and learn some job skills. I have two interns from Urban Youth Action (UYA) working with me for several weeks this summer. Both high school students, Seasha and Mustafaa are entering the eleventh grade this fall, on the path to success. These two definitely keep me on my toes all day and challenge me to stay focused and learn how to teach, work and learn from them all at the same time! So far they have helped me to tally receipts, make copies, model and photograph jewelry, vend at festivals, etc. I hope to add more pics and info about my interns as summer rolls on, and most importantly I want to be a benefit to their lives as much as they can be to mine! Thanks UYA!
